LaPorte Construction is expanding yet again (YAY)! We are now hiring general labourers to join our awesome crew! We are a reputable and fast-paced construction company involved in a wide range of residential and commercial projects. From framing and fencing to roofing and drywall, we take pride in delivering quality craftsmanship and efficient service across Southwestern Ontario.

Position Overview:
As a General Laborer, you will support skilled tradespeople and installers across various construction tasks. This hands-on role involves working on-site daily and contributing to the successful execution of each project. While prior carpentry experience is a strong asset, we are willing to train motivated individuals with a good work ethic and a strong interest in the trades.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
🔹Assist in the installation of various construction systems
🔹Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
🔹Maintain a clean and safe job site
🔹Follow direction from installers and site supervisors
🔹Work within project timelines and guidelines
🔹Operate power tools and equipment (if certified or trained)

QUALIFICATIONS
🔹A valid (clean) G driver's license
🔹Up-to-date First Aid Certificate
🔹Previous construction or carpentry experience is an asset
🔹Working at heights training is an asset
🔹Ability to lift heavy materials
🔹Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
🔹Reliable transportation to job sites
🔹Willingness to learn and grow within the trade
